The Student Initiative Support Centre accepts applications to support extracurricular student mobility.
Within the framework of extracurricular mobility, students can take part in Russian and international events not related to academic activities, including those aimed at developing the system of self-government, extracurricular initiatives and interuniversity partnerships, and events such as forums, festivals, competitions, championships, etc.
Students can apply for support to finance a trip, eg covering the cost of travel, housing, PCR testing, health insurance, organisation fees, and visa fees.
How to Get Support
At least 20 days before the event, you must email an application to the Centre (studsupport@hse.ru) and attach a Microsoft Word document with the following information:
1) Full name of the applicant
2) Faculty, educational programme, year of study
3) Contact information (phone number, email address)
4) Summary of the mobility programme
5) Link to the event
6) Motivation letter
7) Cost estimates
The file name should be ‘[applicant name]_Application for Extracurricular Mobility.’
Your application will be reviewed within three working days and forwarded to the supervising Vice Rector for approval or rejection.
If your application needs to be amended or finalised, the Centre’s staff will contact you.
